Deaf Sports Australia High Performance Campaign Media Release Oct 25

Deaf Sports Australia (DSA) is calling on the Australian Government to end the exclusion of elite deaf athletes from high-performance sport funding. Under the Win Well 2032 Strategy, only Olympic, Paralympic, and Commonwealth Games athletes receive support, leaving Deaflympians to self-fund despite the Deaflympics being IOC-recognised and marking its 100th anniversary this November. DSA urges fair funding so deaf athletes can compete at their best on the world stage.
