Education Modules

Looking to improve the experience for participants in your sport?

Education Modules

Whatever your role in sport and regardless of the abilities or needs of your participants, having the right education and training ensures the best experience for everyone.

Education Modules

The following courses have been developed by Inclusive Sport Design (ISD) for the Australian Sporting Alliance for People with a Disability (ASAPD). Acknowledgement goes to Inclusion Awareness Australia (a partnership of Blind Sports Australia, Deaf Sports Australia, and Sport Inclusion Australia) and the Australian Sports Commission who originally worked with ISD in developing these resources. By embedding information, support and knowledge into existing resources, services and programs used by all levels of sport, inclusion becomes more commonplace. This leads to more opportunities for people to participate in their sport of choice.

Founded by Michael Woods, Inclusive Sport Design aims to help sports organisations, clubs and volunteers increase participation and improve awareness of inclusion practices through education, advice, and support services. Michael is passionate about improving accessibility, equality, and diversity in sports and has developed services for every budget. Michael aims to create welcoming and inclusive opportunities and resources so that sport is something that everyone can be a part of.
